BON JOVI COMPLETE RECORDING THEIR NEW ALBUM, “THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE”

Billboard reports that Bon Jovi has completed recording their new album called, This House Is Not For Sale.

To celebrate, the band posted a photo taken at Electric Lady Studio in New York City on its website, which included band members Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres, Hugh McDonald, Phil X and producer John Shanks.

After word arrived last summer that Bon Jovi had fulfilled its contract on Mercury Records, in what lead singer Jon Bon Jovi called the “end of an era,” the new album will be released in partnership with Island/Universal Music Group, according to a source, marking the group’s return to UMG.

Speaking of their new material at the time, frontman Jon Bon Jovi said, “I have a lot to write about. Believe me, the new record is good. It’s pointed – it’s something we’re going to be very proud of when we put it out.”

This album is the follow-up to 2013’s What About Now and will be the band’s first without any input from guitarist Richie Sambora, who left soon after its release.

The band’s last recording was the “fan” album, Burning Bridges, which was released last year.

AC/DC’S ANGUS YOUNG SAYS THAT AXL ROSE WOULD LOVE TO PLAY ADDITIONAL SHOWS WITH THE BAND

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose keeps asking Angus Young for the chance to play more shows with AC/DC – but the guitarist says the band have not decided on their future.

Brian Johnson was forced to end his live career at short notice in March, leading AC/DC to hire Rose so they could complete the world tour they’d begun in 2015.

They’ve since added a European show to their schedule, meaning there are six confirmed concerts yet to come. Rose has suggested a handful of US shows will also take place.

Young tells NDR, “We’re committed to finishing this tour, so that’s been our main goal. Axl helping us – I know he’s very excited.

He keeps saying, can he do more? But, we don’t really know at the end. This tour, which we were committed to doing, we want to finish it.”

Rose is becoming more agile after breaking his foot at Guns N’ Roses’ first reunion show in April.

Young reports, “His leg’s repairing. Each show we’ve been doing, he’s been getting up and moving around a lot more. So it adds to the show.”

Johnson appears to have abandoned hope of returning to action, saying last week, “I’ve had such a great life – I guess I could rest my socks off.”

DAVID LEE ROTH SAYS THAT HE “SENSES” THAT VAN HALEN WILL BE ACTIVE AGAIN

David Lee Roth is confident Van Halen will record a new album and tour in the future, but he can’t say when.

Van Halen’s most recent album was 2012’s A Different Kind Of Truth, which was their first since reunited with Roth in 2007. They wrapped up a North American tour last year and have been quiet since. However, the frontman is sure there will be more to come from the band.

On The Roth Show, he said, “It’s not like my career path is going to get altered. I sort of know what the next 10 summers are going to bring – Eddie Van Halen aside, those are ups and downs.

I don’t know when we’re going to tour, but I have a sense that we will. I don’t know that we’re going to record again, when that’ll happen, but I have a sense that it’s gonna happen.”

Roth stirred rumours that he was ready to quit the band when he released a solo track this year called Ain’t No Christmas. It includes the lyrics “Quittin’ while you’re ahead ain’t quittin’, and I’m quittin’.”

Former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar said in March he was ready to reconnect with Eddie Van Halen.
