F- this band. Lips said “Americans are lazy, and if they can go on welfare, they will”. I will never support this band again, F- ’em. Anvil, stay in Canada and keep your hands out of the wallets of hard working Americans.

I agree, bro, low class comments from a low class bar band.

Don, good luck on finding anyone who can speak English in Jonquiere.

It’s become as fashionable to dump on Anvil and their return to the clubs just as ten years ago it was fashionable to praise the movie and their determination. Slash’s comparison at the end of that film of them with the Stones and the Who was heartfelt but silly.

But they really are a great live act for small venues and those guys are in great shape. I’d see them again in a heartbeat.

I guess American’s do care what our brethren to the North think of them. I thought it was the Japanese that said American’s were lazy. Why do we care what these guys say?

I think I’ll check em out when they hit Portland.

Lol…man, forget Anvil you guys wanna see something, pull up that stupid “punk symposium” where Johhny Rotten and Marky Ramone almost throw down….woweee is Mark ticked off….lol…..and guys (those guys) music is for the fans, it’s not about…you…why do musicians, comedians, politicians, and priests take themselves so freaking seriously? Even Lips up here takes himself way too seriously…whatever you think of me, I really don’t take myself that seriously. (Ronnie didn’t take himself seriously either). It’s baseball season again! F the Mets, and let’s go Dodgers! 🙂

F the Mets? Really, bro? That’s harsh, why F the Mets? The Dodgers have alot more bigger problems than the Mets!

Doug, sorry to learn about Tom Seavers’ health. Great Mets pitcher with a long career. Prayers to him and his family.

    • Doug R. on

Thanks, bro. Yeah I just found out about it this morning, very sad. I can’t tell you how many games I saw Tom Terrific pitch at Shea Stadium, great memories. Godspeed, Mr. Seaver.
