  1. Say I if you agree that Creed is 1 of the best bands to come out of the ’90s! Here’s my top 5 –
    5) Soundgarden
    4) Godsmack
    3) Creed
    2) Stone Temple Pilots
    1) Alice In Chains
We need Creed! There isn’t anything this band can’t Overcome!

    1. Hi Doug! Creed is a good band but not in my personal top 5 from the 90’s. I would put the Smashing Pumpkins in the top 5 over them. Reason being, not a fan of Stapp’s voice and barely any guitar solos in their songs. I think Alter Bridge crushes Creed but apparently the masses don’t think so.

    2. Doug R, my top 5 90’s bands would be:

      1) Children of Bodom
      2) Opeth
      3) Alice In Chains
      4) Creed
5)Pearl Jam (only cuz I went to high school with Eddie Vedder)

And though I’m not a huge fan, and they originally established themselves as an 80’s “glam” band, I give Pantera huge credit for keeping heavy metal alive in the 90s. IMO, no other heavy metal band remained popular during the changing music times of the 90s…..
