Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, 74, has canceled the remaining dates of his 2025 tour because of “ongoing medical issues” following a recent fall that left him hospitalized.
“Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates,” the musician announced on an Instagram post on October 6th.
Frehley had several shows planned for October and November to support his most recent solo album, 10,000 Volts, which was released in February 2024. The record marked his first release of original material since Spaceman back in 2018.
Fans of Frehley and KISS, meanwhile, rushed to the comments section of his message to wish the “musician well amid his ongoing health issues.
Frehley is expected to attend The Kennedy Center Honors, on December 7th at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, where KISS will be acknowledged for their contribution to the Arts.

I am going to listen to Ace tonight and pray for a quick recovery! One of my top ten favorite rockers!
Rest/Rock in peace Ace !! My Question of the Week suggestion was going to be: What is your favorite LIVE album of all time ???
For me it was Kiss ALIVE ! It was the very first album I ever owned, a Christmas gift from my favorite sister. When a legendary band like Kiss loses that first member………..it’s very sobering. Condolences to any and all of you who are Ace Frehly fans.
