As previously reported, Accept will be celebrating half a century as a band by releasing Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 which will featuring many A list musicians, and will be released on September 4th.
The band is sharing the track Fast As A Shark, featuring Anselmo, Hammett, Dee and Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), below.
Hoffmann comments on Fast As A Shark, “This song was so much fun. We even re-recorded the intro in a Bavarian oompah style… a friend of mine lives in Bavaria, and he was in contact with one of those traditional Bavarian woodwind outfits, and they recorded the traditional German folk song ‘Ein Heller Und Ein Batzen’ for us, which was fantastic. We were lucky to get Phil Anselmo on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, and of course Kirk Hammett on guitar, which is amazing, and Mikkey Dee on drums, so that’s a pretty nice supergroup, isn’t it?”
Hammett added, “A real honor to pay back the great inspiration Accept had for me.”

Mark Tornillo and TT Quick (NY/NJ metro band mostly) introduced many to Accept early 1980’s. Hearing the Restless & Wild album on a Sony Walkman for the first time in 1983…….memory burned into my mind. That album is ALL Killer, no filler. This version is great……..has me listening to the original while doing some work around my house. Thank you for posting. Looking forward to the rest of ‘Teutonic Titans.’ Udo Dirkschneider still holds a place in the hearts of old Accept fans. Mark Tornillo is a great addition to that band.
