I’ve only had the awesome experience of seeing AC⚡️DC once, MSG – August 2000, on the Stiff Upper Lip tour, SO glad I got to BJ, Angus, Malcolm, Cliff, and Phil, and I agree, this version of AC⚡️DC just doesn’t work for me, all due respect to Angus and BJ, I’ll pass.
Saw them in 88. White Lion opened up for them. WL was really good. Not a fan of the stadiums. Power Up was a terrible release even though Amazon has all those fake reviews! Last of the great bands out there!!!
I disagree, in my opinion Power Up is a great album! And a great tribute to Malcolm.
I saw them with Bon just before he passed and was lucky to have met him talk a bit and snag an autograph , I saw them on Brian’s first tour back in black , I’ve watched their recent vids …father time catches up to us all I’m not interested in seeing them anymore like this –
Wow, Robert,
Lucky you, please share more details, if you so desire. Bon seemed like such an affable guy.
I might check this out. Vegas is next door to me and I have free lodging there, so it’ll be a good little weekend trip. I disagree with everyone saying how it’s not AC⚡️DC. Sure I’d love it if Malcom were still alive and in the band, but I say be happy with what’s left and enjoy. These bands are a dying breed soak up as much as you can before they are gone for good. Angus carries the show pretty much anyways, who has ever gone to an AC⚡️DC show saying how much Phil Rudd rocked? Or Malcom? I loved Malcom, but he’s gone and can’t bring him back. Another thing, do you think he’d appreciate people shitting on what’s left of his band? Nope! I say go if you’re able, it’ll be one hell of a show I bet.
Great “seeing” you.
Saw them 1981 MSG/NYC…….after fairly recent girlfriend break-up. Incredible setlist, amazing show, everything as expected, incredible energy.
Now…….still listen to the music…..but don’t want to see them again…..or that old girlfriend.
