4/20: TRUNKNATION UPDATE, TRIUMPH ON PODCAST, MORE

Been a bit lax on updates here with my usual crazy schedule. Apologies for that. Please be sure to follow on Twitter @EddieTrunk for regular daily updates on my radio shows and more. Had a great week of shows so far on TrunkNation with some great topics. Including “bands that should have been huge” and “best replacement members”. As usual the show is live daily 2-4P ET with a replay 9-11P ET on SiriusXM Volume 106. Monday The Pretty Reckless and Ice T are in studio for my show. Tomorrow is all open phones Free For All Friday. Listen and get involved talking rock!

My radio show where I reunited Triumph is now my new free podcast! If you missed it a few weeks ago hear it now free at www.PodcastOne.com or via Itunes.

M3 just about a week away. Look forward to being back to host! Congrats to all ticket winners for that as well as LA Guns/Faster Pussycat on Saturday at Mulcahy’s and Y&T next Wednesday at BBs NYC. Rocklahoma ticket winners announced soon.

Nicer weather is here so grab a new Trunk Nation/Eddie Trunk shirt in the merch store. And signed books still available in the Books tab on this site.

My FM show this weekend features an interview with Richie Kotzen. Debuts Q104.3 NYC and WAAF Boston tomorrow 11P ET.

  1. Just wondering why the Triumph interview wasn’t posted on iTunes? Don Airey/Ted Nugent from last week is still up as the latest podcast.

  2. My #1 Band That Should Have Been Huge is Armored Saint. I think the band wrote, and continues to write, great songs and has a great vocalist in John Bush. Perhaps their timing for success was negatively impacted due to the band breaking out during the “glam” metal period? Perhaps the production sound on their first major album was too polished? I don’t know…but I think they still are a great band and glad they continue to make new music to this day….
