To all those asking about playlists for my FM weekly syndicated radio show “Eddie Trunk Rocks” they will now be listed on this site once again in the Live & On The Air tab. Latest one up now. They only post after the show airs on all outlets over the weekend and will now be updated daily. More site updates and improvements to come as part of out relaunch.
Listening to the first ever solo album from Punky Meadows and it’s really good if you love melodic hard rock. Many times when an artist is out of the game as long as Punky has been they don’t play that well, make an album that isn’t in line with what their fan base wants, etc. But that is NOT the case here. Maybe some of his best playing ever and songs exactly in the world Angel fans will love! Punky in studio with me this Monday to play more and discuss. I’ll be presenting an award to all members of Angel in Vegas 5/15.
New podcast tomorrow features a podcast exclusive interview with Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum as well as Lita Ford & Lzzy Hale together. Plus my usual commentary for the week. Free as always on www.podcastone.com or Itunes.
Happy Birthday to my friend of 30 years Ace Frehley! The video of Ace and Paul Stanley together doing Fire & Water was released today. They both sound great on the track and it’s really cool to see! Ace podcast up now and I just saw a rough cut of my interview special for my TV pilot and it looks great! More soon.
To those asking I am not hosting M3 this year and currently do not plan on attending. I honestly do not have any idea why since they never responded or gave me an answer after asking several times. So I guess that’s my answer! My friend Michael Sweet is doing the honors and I’m sure will do a great job. If you are going enjoy. My schedule as always of all confirmed appearances is on my home page and I have a bunch more new festivals and appearances to announce soon!

Ace is 65 and at the top of his game!
I’ve always like Soul Asylum, so that should be an interesting podcast cast.
Lzzy and Lita will be great together. I’ve read Lita’s book and all I can say is “WOW!”

Listening to current podcast and it sounds like the Lita Ford and Lizzy Hale interrupted ur comments on Prince?
Dear Eddie: I just listened to the Dave Pirner/Soul Asylum podcast. I want to say Thank You for recognizing what I believe is one of the most underrated bands of the last 25 years! I love the new record and had a chance to see them here in Austin 3 times in the last 3 years. You are correct that they are a must see live band! I would check out the And The Horse They Rode In On album if you have not. Came out right before Grave Dancers Union and is my favorite Soul Asylum album. Thank you for all that you do to promote and keep music alive for us fans!
Thank you,
Brandon
