12/28: YEAR END UPDATE AND MORE

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a very happy healthy new year. It’s been an incredible 2018 for me and I thank you all for your support. TrunkFest debuted on AXS TV, TrunkNation on SiriusXM Volume made news almost daily with interviews and rock talk, the FM/syndicated show continues to grow, and my podcast is often top 20 on Itunes. Thank you all! Can’t wait to see what’s ahead for 2019. In the meantime here are some things coming very soon:

This weekend on Volume SiriusXM 106 will be my weekend Best Of both Saturday and Sunday 8-10P ET. Monday 2-4 & 9-11P ET will be a special Best Of my 2018 interviews with Steve Perry, Geddy Lee, Slash, Vinnie Vincent, Neal Schon, Joe Elliot and more! Then back live 1/2 2P ET on 106 to hear your top albums of 2018 lists.

New podcast this Thursday will be the full Geddy Lee interview!

I will be at NAMM this year doing my radio show, hosting the Hall Ofd HM History Awards, hosting Ronnie Montrose Remembered and shooting an episode of TrunkFest for AXS. Then Cruise to The Edge, Monsters Of Rock Cruise and more. Lot of other cool things TBA soon.

Have a healthy happy 2019 all! More soon

What Happens Next is a great album, almost made my top 5! Half of Chickenfoot, (with Chad Smith) and then add Glenn Hughes in the mix, it’s a Super Funky Badass! 😉

Nicely varied list Doug R. Oh well, may as post my top5 which consequently were the only 5 “new” albums I purchased this past year except for “Anthem of the Peaceful Army” by Greta Van Fleet which was a disappointment so therefore is not on the list.

Ace’s new album Spaceman might’ve made my list had he not fired his whole damn band! No but honestly, it’s a good album, but just not good enough for my top 5.
