Comments

  1. Still have three Ted Nugent albums from the 70s (Free For All, Double Live Gonzo and Scream Dream).
He was a rocker back then and I was young and didn’t have a clue. I still like some of the tunes, but…
Now, he’s so outspoken politically, a real right-wing redneck, I wouldn’t spend a nickel on him.
I love animals and don’t like guns, so it’s pretty tough to be a Ted Nugent fan.

  2. Right on, guys.
Couldn’t agree more, like some of his old stuff, but can’t stand the guy and his redneck views.

  3. Anti-Liberal says:

You liberals never cease to amaze me! Is Ted a racist or does he just present facts? Are Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson racists? They certainly are much more racist than Uncle Ted! Ted is not a racist! Oh yeah, my 2nd amendment rights shall not be infringed! I will continue to carry my firearm legally with my CCW permits so that I can protect myself from the thugs that illegally buy guns on the streets, I will continue to hunt and kill animals with my guns and bow & arrows and I will continue to target shoot at the range because it is a lot of fun and it’s a celebration of our 2nd amendment rights that many men & women have fought & died for in order for us law abiding citizens to have that right! The main thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. You morons want to ban guns totally & not just from the thugs on the streets who illegally own them! You morons would rather try to call 911 while someone is attacking, robbing, raping or trying to stab or kill you and hope that someone with a gun (police officer) comes in time to save your lives! And you’re also dumb enough to believe gun free zones save lives!!! You think criminals see the sign and go somewhere else to do their mass shootings! You liberals are the dumbest and most hypocritical people on earth who are driving this country into the ground by following one another trying to find a corner in a round room! If you don’t like it, kiss my white & proud ass, spread the word about The White Buffaloes (the equivalent to the black panthers) and suck my glock!

    • I don’t appreciate extremism of any kind (racism, religious, etc). In my opinion, anything to an extreme is counterproductive and destructive. Promoting an organization that possibly promotes intolerance (just based on your Black Panther analogy) is not cool.

      Dana from ET.com :)

    • So Mr. Limbaugh help me out here. If I don’t like Ted I’m A liberal? Is that your schtick?

    • I hate the NRA says:

Take it easy buddy….go sober up. You bin hitting the moonshine to hard…no one said they where gonna take your guns….relax go to a happy place

  4. Keith Gallant says:

Amazing that people on this sight can’t respectfully disagree with Uncle Ted’s political views, while still giving him the due credit for his amazing guitar playing and musical genius. I am one of the “right wing rednecks” that agree with much of what Uncle Ted says, in his political views. I know I am not a racist, and have never heard anything that the Nuge has said that could be construed as racist by anyone not pre-disposed to finding something racist in his comments. But even if I didn’t agree with him, I could respectfully disagree with him and not hurl vile insults in his direction while still giving him due credit for the great musical history he has contributed to the hard rock world. Please grow up!!

  5. Wow. The haters are out. I love animals, but I love guns. Why does that make a redneck? Really? Name calling? Read up on environmental issues in regards to “thinning herds” etc. without responsible hunting, the eco system shuts down. So you dont agree with his politics. So what. He speaks for what he believes in. and he doesnt hide behind a keyboard to say it.

    • “Hiding behind a keyboard”…you mean like you? And because the Nuge has never ever waxed politically online before(under a nom de plume)? You’re silly. Meanwhile, where’s your excoriation of Teddy for his own very distasteful name-calling, hmm? Hypocrite…

  6. Opening for Bocephus in Iowa. I’d pay to see that double team and their words on the Obama second term.

    • I wonder if he’ll talk about his draft-dodging war-mongering ways…

    • Ryan B. says:

Yep, Lee, because that is what I go to a show for. I want to hear what a multi millionaire musician thinks about the current Presidential situation and how we are getting screwed by the man. It sucks when I’m trying to listen to an old Pearl Jam concert on satellite radio and its a show where Eddie won’t shut up about Bush and it sucks to hear Uncle Ted go on and on about it with Obama. He isn’t breaking new ground or converting anyone or giving solutions. He is just stoking the fire…..and something about the fact we all know now this guy was pushing his mid 20’s and into his 30’s and had a taste for 12 year old girls just makes him extra disgusting on about every level. Only Jimmy Page can’t get away that, and Ted aín’t no Jimmy Page.

  7. Harry Taint says:

I threw out all of my Nugent records. It is hard to separate his hate from his music anymore.

  8. Somebody please show up at every show in the front row wearing an Obama mask and give Ted the finger through the whole performance.

  9. Murray Dee says:

    Musical genius? Hardly,
How many good songs does Ted Nugent actually have? 3? 4?
He’s really gone overboard the last few years, going on FOX and spouting his views.
Rock and Roll and politics just don’t mix.

    • Rik Page says:

R&R and politics don’t mix?? Why?? because it’s one of the few that preach the right wing agenda?? Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, CSN, and a million others been preaching leftist ideology their entire careers and that’s fine but heaven forbid someone from the right speaks openly …..

  10. Woohoo!!! Draft-dodging, ephebophile, republican rock n’ roll, everybody!!!

  11. Three things that Ted demands of his fans: Attitude, Spirit and Dead Meat on the Grill! Yeah, Uncle Ted can be a little OTT, but he’s entertaining. Got into him in the 70’s and still into him. Anyone here read his book, Ted White and Blue? I have. I read it with an open mind and a good 70% of it makes a lot of sense, especially when it comes to raising kids. I’d love to see him on this tour, but he’s not making it up to Canada anytime soon. Yep, I’m Canadian and still agree with many of his perspectives. Still love his guitar playing and Craveman was kick ass.

  12. ziggy stardust says:

Ted is all right it’s just the world is messed up

  13. Amigoe70 says:

I love Ted Nugent!! Ted for President!!

  14. Ed Manly says:

I’ve always enjoyed Nugents music and since he has taken a stance against these liberturds I like him even more. Matter of fact I just pre-orderd the new cd!! I support him 150% and freedom liberty minded rockers must too.
