Testament have announced the U.S. leg of their Thrash Of The Titans world tour. The trek, which will launch in March, unites the band with fellow thrash legends Overkill and Destruction for one of the fiercest tours of the new year.
Testament frontman Chuck Billy says, “2026 looks like it is going to start with an explosion with the Thrash Of The Titans tour. Joining us will be our metal brothers Overkill and Destruction. Our friendship has almost reached four decades. This is gonna be a thrash metal show you don’t wanna miss.”
Overkill vocalist Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth states, “March can’t come soon enough. We are stoked to be part of this killer package, that will lay waste to the States. Let’s get this show on the road.”
Destruction bassist Schmier adds, “This is killer news — the Thrash Of The Titans tour is finally hitting America! So many fans have been shouting for this, and now it’s happening. The best tours happen when you roll with bands you respect, bands you can raise hell with — and when the bill just hits hard.”
Tickets go on sale on December 19th at 10:00 a.m. local time.

I so wish this would come closer to San Diego! I don’t want to drive to Los Angeles! I would love to see Destruction…I have never seen them before!
Pretty excited to see them start the tour in Portland.
Hope you make ti to a show if ya’ can Rattle.
I just Cattle Decapitation on Monday night. Incredible onslaught speed & sound. They’re from yer neck of the woods.
Merry Metal Xmas \m/ \m/
I didn’t know Cattle Decapitation is from San Diego…thanks for the info! FYI, their music is a little OTT for me, but glad you dig them!
If a show date gets added closer to San Diego, I’ll go. This would be a killer show, for sure, but I just don’t want to drive to downtown Los Angeles for it.
Can’t say I blame you for not wanting to travel up to Old LA for a 4 hour event.
Catt.Decap. is totally over the top. The musicianship is quite impressive. As a drummer, I’m intrigued by the power, speed and technique. In truth, the only Death Metal I really enjoy is Gojira and some Death. These guys are unique and their message while grim, and in your face, is not far off from our stark reality.
Seeing them for the 1st time the other night. I found myself recalling a vivid memory of the first time I heard METALLICA’s MOP, Battery and Damage, Inc. I was 15, living in NE TN and new to the area, hanging out with my new metalhead friend John & Niles after school. Took a puff or two while they put Puppets on. All I heard was a cacophony of sound, powerful drums, rapid screaming guitars and lyrics I could barely comprehend. I was confused and curious. At that point in the my life the heaviest thing I listened to was Ozzy, Sabbath, Zepp and VH, Priest and Maiden, to name a few. Two months later I was front and center on the field at RFK Stadium, DC headbanging while chanting Die! DIE! DIE! too Creeping Death with 50K other metal heads. I was overwhelmed by the “ Power and the Glory.” Been in love ever since.
Merry Ed-mas to ya,
Up the Irons \m/
Tasker, do you like the band Possessed? I think they were the first death metal band, and I really like them. I think their album “Seven Churches” is killer!
I felt similar hearing Metallica for the first time. I could just feel the power of their music when I first heard “Kill Em All”. I was always interested in fast tempo music.
I love the Saxon reference in your last paragraph!
Mr. Rattle, Yes, I’ve heard of them but don’t really know their catalogue. I’ll check ‘em out.
Happy New Year to ya’.
Cheers, Brent
Definitely going to this one! I’ve seen all three bands but Testament is the only one I’ve seen more than once. Can’t wait for this one, gonna be epic!
Got my presale tix yesterday. Roseland has a Balcony and I was able to get a prime seat. First & last time I saw Overkill was 2013 Battle of San Bernie. They were so tight. Testament is great. Destruction will be new to me. Should be a machine gun double bass shred fest. \m/
