Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has officially retired.
The 74-year-old British-born rocker, who was also the lead singer of Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976, announced the end of his five-and-a-half-decade career in a video message shared earlier today via his YouTube channel, which can be seen, below.

I think he did it right when age reared its ugly head late in his career he brought in dino for vocal help instead of resorting to stanley syncing – class act one of the greatest voices ever , sailing ships is a magnificent vocal performance- there is nothing left to prove you climbed all the mountains rest easy mr.coverdale and thank you~
