Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy has released the following statement:
“After 30 years creating the band Ratt and losing a real brother, Robbin, it’s time that I personally part ways with the band.
I am officially done with having anything to do with them due to the constant turmoil, unresolved business, personal attacks/threats in the public forum, and most of all, the disrespect to the fans.
I’m very content and proud of the legacy and the music I’ve created. This music will live well beyond any of our lifetimes.
I owe no one anything but a huge heartfelt thank you for coming to the party for the last 30 years.
With much respect, life goes on and the music I created will continue to be heard for years to come despite the dark clouds that have lingered for far too long.
I will personally continue to make music and perform live shows.

I’m sorry but Ratt was never more than an MTV singles band. Meaning they never put out a great album, they always had maybe 4 good songs on eahc one. Warren is great but it’s too bad he wasn’t in a better bad.
Then you never really listened to them. The first several albums were great.
To each their own, but Out of the Cellar is pretty much all killer, no filler. Invasion of Your Privacy and Dancing Undercover were pretty solid. Infestation from a couple years ago was good too. Definitely more than “only 3 or 4 good songs”.
It was fun, Loved the shows, love the music, We miss Robbin too !! He was a down to earth guy when I met him in Boise, He left an indelible impression on us Girls, Steven, you leave with Class, you must do what you gotta do, Looking forward to the New Round, See you on the bright side !!

When Blotz holds the name and gives Pearcy much less percentage than the drummer, can you blame him for running? Some years back he played a restaurant near Boston….he’s financially wrecked and needs the % over Blotz. He’ll be back…I saw it with The Go Go’s, Belinda was down to empty in her account and reformed. Ratt without Pearcy is like Skid Row/Quiet Riot/Warrant etc.. Ignore them. Pearcy solo is small brick bars, Tramp stuff, 88 people.
