Although, Judas Priest is my favorite band, I would nominate John Sykes.
I could write, endless reasons why, he is deserving of the honor, being under appreciated, would be one of the biggest. Also, any excuse to post a picture of him 😉 .

The Kennedy Center Honors website sucks. Had a very hard time finding a list of all honorees past and present. Ended up having to go to Wikipedia. Now I’m pissed off for having to put so much effort into this. First thing I’m doing is taking someone out of the past honorees. And I’m talking about none other than that ass hat, over-rated, nut bag bruce not the boss springsteen.
Now, unless I browsed too quickly, I did not see the likes of The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Nirvana and Ozzy solo to name just a few. What a travesty! They all should be in ahead of Kiss and most definitely that below average loser springsteen. Thank you.

Apparently, the system is being reworked, over reported years of it languishing into almost bankruptcy.
Also, I loathe Springsteen. He “sings” like someone grunting on the toilet, never got it. Overrated, is a nice term, when discussing him.
