QUESTION OF THE WEEK, FROM POSTER DOUG R., WHO DO YOU THINK ARE THE MOST UNDER APPRECIATED BANDS/MUSICIANS?

Not surprise, number one is JOHN SYKES/Blue Murder.

Also, Tora Tora and Richie Kozten. If I think of anyone else, I will add them to my list.

    1. Good choices, I think Mr. Big should’ve been bigger considering the lineup. Maybe even Ugly Kid Joe, as well.

    2. Totally agree with Mr. Big. I love UKJ as well, their Rad Wings Of Destiny album, should be acknowledged for their nod to Judas Priest.

    3. Here, here! My bass buddy David Bombere from No. VA was the bassist before they broke big. As I recall he said they rejected their first major label deal and held out.

  1. Many come to mind, but right now in my opinion 1 of the most underrated and under appreciated bands of all time would be Triumph! I’ll add more later

    1. Blue Oyster Cult, IMO they never received all the accolades that they should have and rightfully deserve! Another very underrated band? – Airbourne! So they sound like AC⚡️DC on steroids, they’re still their own band! And a band that kicks major ass!

    1. All The Right Noises, Wonder Days, and Robert Johnson’s Tombstone are such good albums!!

    2. Hello Sean Christopher

Those Thunder albums are very good indeed. These are all later in their career. Have you heard their first two albums – 1990’s Backstreet Symphony and 1992’s Laughing on Judgement Day? If not be sure to check them out; Laughing on Judgement Day has a couple of brilliant songs in particular: Low Life in High Places and Like a Satellite.

Another good album of their’s is The Magnificent Seventh! from 2006. Check out the song Can’t Keep a Good Man Down.

  2. This is a great question from Doug! Kingdom Come comes to my mind first! They have many great CDs! Second would be Kings x!!! Amazing band with many great CDs! More modern or up to date would be Halsey for sure! 98 percent of her songs are beyond great! She is a true artist!! I can’t wait to see what she does next!!!
