Yes, Derek Riggs drawing/image cover. I fixed the headline to avoid further confusion.
Cross Eyed Mary of course! Is there any others? I am sure that I am going to learn something with this question. I was so embarrassed with not knowing New York Groove was not Ace’s song after all these years! Haha!
If you looked at my images, I meant best Iron Maiden illustration/cover, not cover song. It was my mistake, as that was a bit vague, and could have been interpreted as cover song.
Anyway, I adjusted the headline, so hopefully, there won’t be any further confusion.
Brave New World – Eddie the Cloud menacingly hovering over a futuristic London. What made it even better was/is how great the album is (BTW: Three favorite Maiden albums in chronological order: Seventh Son, Brave New World and Senjutsu. Honorable mention both Album & Cover: Somewhere In Time).

My favorite Maiden album/single cover is “Killers”. It’s also my favorite Maiden album.
Always loved that image too, even though it is pretty savage. I had it on a silk screen, remember those?
Definitely agreeing with Rattlehead on this one!! (Piece of Mind runs a close second tho…)
sleeve cover, you mean…not cover song….The Number of the Beast

I have to look that one up. That is cool, but that isn’t a Derek Riggs cover is it?
Yes, it’s Derek’s work. Amazing artist. I like him as much, if not more than Pushead a.k.a Brian Schroeder
Dana, Derek Riggs was brought in for the Eddie Cloud; illustrator Steve Stone created the future London.
I liked the cloud best. 🙂
