QUESTION OF THE WEEK: THE GRAMMY’S AIRED LAST NIGHT (I DID NOT WATCH), DO ANY OF THESE AWARDS SHOW MATTER, OR HAVE ANY RELEVANCE, ANYMORE?

My answer is “No.” I know far too much insider information about the Grammy’s, and how their “voting” process is accomplished.

Additionally, the entire music landscape has changed, and to me, there is very little talent, and variety, anymore, so it’s a who give a s–t about these self congratulatory awards shows, for less than mediocre talent?

Finally, I heard on many news shows, once again, musicians had to drag politics into the mix. Just go away with that BS.

  1. Yes, it does still mean something. Just because Rock is not in the mainstream anymore, and the Grammys don’t televise any of the rock awards, doesn’t mean that this isn’t important to artists and fans of other music genres. I personally choose not to watch it.
