there was that counter culture movement in the ’60s…which became the elitist establishment, and Kiss was counter the counter culture who hate them….the only reason why Kiss got in is because of attrition…Kiss never bowed to any idea or social construct or any of that manipulation…
Kiss also used every show biz trick in the book…not some of them….all of them…and I also think none of this would have happened if they didn’t get back together, which solidified their Dynasty. It was no fluke the first time…the Reunion tour was the real Revenge tour…Ace is the one who made lead guitar cool again. As much as Bruce complains about whatever, the Unplugged show….I wish Don Rickles could do impersonations of the other Kiss members complaining.
I pointed that out because Kiss actually didn’t invent anything…all they did was take every single show biz trick…that’s all of them, and put them together.
