An attorney for former Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars has blasted an arbitrator’s ruling that the group was within its rights to dismiss Mars as an officer in their business affairs as well as bandmember, for cause, once he dropped out of Mötley Crüe‘s touring due to health issues. Moreover, the judgment declared that Mars owes his former band hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Mars‘s lawyer, Ed McPherson, tells Rolling Stone, “The decision is awful. It’s not fair. This band has never been fair to Mick. When Mick said ‘I can’t tour anymore because of a hideous disease, but I can still write, perform one-offs or residencies and record,’ they said, ‘Sorry, Mick. It’s been 43 years, but you’re out. Goodbye, and we don’t want to pay you anymore.’ This arbitrator said it’s fine. We need to figure out if we’re going to challenge [the decision]. It’s ridiculous. It’s just a question of whether he wants to keep pursuing this. Basically, he’s over Mötley Crüe.”

these are four complete knuckle heads…..ok, back to Kiss: their greatness lied in their limitations…eg. Paul never had a strong voice…he’s deaf in one ear, and he was a pudgy kid….yet, he’s the MC, the glue of the greatest band in the world, …and that permeates to the rest of the guys….who were all gifted….but all had some issue to deal with, some sort of thing that would hold back the average person….and they ruled the Universe, etc., etc. etc..
I believe this is the US courts. There is a lot of corruption by judges who are attorneys and attorneys. I have seen it first hand! It is called legalized extortion by attorneys. I suspect that is what Mick Mars attorney did to him! I would buy something from Mick for sure if it rocks!
