MICHAEL SCHENKER’S “MY YEARS WITH UFO,” TO FEATURE AXL ROSE, SLASH, STEPHEN PEARCY, MEMBERS OF EUROPE, WHITESNAKE AND MORE

Axl Rose (Guns N’ Roses),Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Joey Tempest (Europe), Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Biff Byford (Saxon) and Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) are among the musicians who appear on My Years With UFO, the new album from Michael Schenker on which the legendary German guitarist revisits his classic years with UFO from 1972 to 1978.

Due on September 20th through earMUSIC, the 50th-anniversary LP will also showcase the six-string abilities of Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), John Norum (Europe) and Adrian Vandenberg (Whitesnake).

  1. I think it would have been cool if Phil Mogg or Rudolf Schenker were part of this project. Yeah, I know Michael doesn’t have a good relationship with his brother, but still….

  2. This is an impressive lineup of musicians and vocalists. But no Rudolph? No Mogg? What about Kirk Hammett who adores UFO? Great could’ve been spectacular!
