The Metal Hall of Fame announced today a partial list of rockstars that will be Inducted in 2025.
The Annual Metal Hall of Fame Charity Gala, where Industry Executives and fans alike attend “The Most Important Night In Hard Rock And Heavy Metal.” takes place on January 22nd, at the Grand Theater in Anaheim, CA, co-hosted by our very own Eddie Trunk and Cathy Rankin.

This is pretty cool. I checked out the website and didn’t realize this has been going on since 2017. I’m curious as to who votes on who gets in? What are the criteria/qualifications to get inducted? While most inductees already in seem more than worthy; a couple have me scratching my head. For example, Lou Gramm? I love Lou and Foreigner but don’t believe they/he are heavy metal. Also, why is Bill Ward and Vinny Appice in by themselves? Thank you.
Jeff Young getting inducted into this Metal Hall of Fame??? For what??? The guy played on one Megadeth album and now plays in, essentially, a Megadeth tribute band. How is that “hall of fame” worthy?
