As the resident female here, no I have never done that, nor do I believe, that tactic, was ever used on me.
While I know my memory is foggy, I don’t think any cheesy lines were ever uttered to me?

I tried this one and it didn’t work….” My Love is Like a Tire Iron”…..Ted Nugent
It’s so funny, when I look back at my youth. I used a Tesla line off their second album. I was being real. We were intimate for the whole 1st side of Zeppelin 2. Amazingly, her name was Dana. It was an amazing night!!
I want to know what love is
I so wanna use “Like Gasoline do you wanna PUMP ME’…but never had the balls…
LOL…worst lyric of all time…!!!! (but love it so much)…
LOL!!! I love Bret Michaels so much.
I implemented bits and pieces of Mr. Paul Stanley & Gene Simmons lyrics in my younger days. I didn’t use them verbatim every time, but at the time I thought they were clever (teenage years). Apparently I didn’t have the swagger to go with it because they never worked haha. These were mainly used via written notes during class as cell phones weren’t a thing yet and internet was barely in its infancy. I often got a mean stare, laughed at or sometimes the girl would pass it around to the entire class to read and laugh at me haha.
RPS,
I am overjoyed, we lived an era, without cell phones and social media. Back then, the only thing I would have liked about social media, is that it makes it easier, to have an easier “rapport” with famous musicians.
Yes, what we have today, is what I dreamed of having as a kid. Music mags like Circus and Metal Edge were our internet and social media. Looking back, I’m glad we didn’t have access to these bands like we do today. It has totally ruined the mystique for many of these bands and it’s also opened up negative rabbit holes about who these people are as humans like those dipshits roger waters & bruce not my boss but he is my bitch springsteen.
RPS,
I wholeheartedly agree.
I was just merely thinking, about me, as a teen, being able to send either a Facebook message, or a Tweet, to John Sykes, or whoever would run his official accounts. That would have been pretty sweet, other than that, I am thankful, that we did not have social media, at the time.
As for Circus Magazine, I interned there, as well as, Elektra Records.I also had a subscription to Metal Edge, loved it. Those were such great times 🙂
RPS – Hopefully you did not use any of Stanley’s stage raps 🙂
Could have used Peter Criss songs …..more ballads to choose from.
