Boy I sure was planning on going to this show until I found out that KISS was releasing a $50,000 gold record 45 single of their song “Strutter!” I’d rather help Gene and Paul as they obviously still need money!
Thanks for the heads up, I will post about that news.
As utterly ridiculous as a $50,000 gold record 45 single is, some wealthy KISS fanatic will buy it. If there weren’t a market for it (as limited as it may be), Gene and Paul wouldn’t put it out. The actual cost to make the gold record is probably a fraction of what they’re selling it, so even if they sell only 10 pieces worldwide (and I’m low-balling it), they’ve already grossed half a million dollars.
To quote the great philosopher PT Barnum: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
Well put Rtunes68. Love the PT Barnum quote, spot on.
