  1. Am I the only one that thinks GNR became a bloated, boring version of themselves starting with the Illusion albums (lots of filler)? And now the scab Sex Pistols opening? This whole Frank Carter thing, are you freaking kidding me? Rotten is the voice, the face, the attitude. Guns on their first tour, unstoppable. After that, who cares.

    1. No, Mr. R and R,

You are not, I have heard that from many people in my life, that they were a one album band. Including a regular poster on this very site. 🙂

    2. Yeah I remember a long time ago when Axl said he wanted to bury Appetite, obviously he wasn’t kidding, he buried it alright!

  2. There was a time when I thought Slash and Axl would never even talk to each other. I wonder if Axl was reasonable with the pay instead of pulling a power play over Slash and Duff. Now that the show is up and running, and the demand for tickets is there, I see no reason for them to stop touring soon. They’re making $ and having a great time performing these songs for a whole new generation.

  3. G n R has released 6 studio albums, which includes one covers album, since 1987 to date. Iron Maiden has released 17 studio albums, ALL original matetial, since 1980 to date. How the heck is G n R even in the RRHOF, but Iron Maiden isn’t??? What a bunch of hacks at the RRHOF.

G n R is the most OVERRATED band in rock and roll history.

  4. I am really disgusted with this band more than any other band. Not releasing a full album of new material. Just touring and really cashing in. Look at Alice cooper. He tours and tours and tours but he has like thirty records out. Mostly great records so I would go see him. Wait, I may dislike Motley Crue even more. Haha! I have to think about it. Right now I am listening to Priest Firepower. Saga 20 20 and Creed Human Clay live from the Deluxe version! New Candlemass record coming out in February!!! So excited to hear that!!!

  5. I realize that releasing new music for a “legacy” act is kind of an expensive endeavor with questionable/nominal returns, but it would be nice if G&R actually released a full-length album of new material (and not throwaway tracks). The Rolling Stones certainly released a great new album with Hackney Diamonds.
