Legendary guitarist GEORGE LYNCH has announced the first two shows for his new project dubbed GEORGE LYNCH & THE MOB . The dates are as follows:
July 25 – Angel City Music Hall – Manchester, NH
July 26 – Jam At The Dam – Monroe, CT
Joining LYNCH on stage at these shows will be vocalist ANDREW FREEMAN (LAST IN LINE), drummer BRIAN TICHY (WHITESNAKE FOREIGNER, OZZY OSBOURNE) and bassist Jaron Gulino.
TICHY was previously a touring member of LYNCH‘s long-running band LYNCH MOB in 2010, 2012–2013, 2015, 2020 and 2025; Gulino was in LYNCH MOB from 2022 to 2025; and Freeman played with LYNCH MOB in 2003, 2010 and 2019.
In a recent interview with Talking With Cars, LYNCH spoke about his upcoming touring activities following the completion of LYNCH MOB‘s The Final Ride farewell tour celebrating the band’s 35-year legacy. He said: “Well, LYNCH MOB did its last show March 22nd, earlier this year. And so that’s it for touring for LYNCH MOB. So I have another entity partially put together, which will probably be a revolving door of different people. But right now I’m just tentatively calling it GEORGE LYNCH & THE MOB, so people can identify with my name and the fact that there’s still the LYNCH MOB aspect to that name without the bad connotations.”
Asked if GEORGE LYNCH & THE MOB will feature a “rotating” lineup of musicians, he said, “Most likely, yeah. Because we aren’t gonna be touring solidly enough to really keep a band together. So it’ll just be probably a basket of different people that’ll rotate in and out on a need-to basis or whenever they’re available.”
He continued, “The interesting thing is I’ve played with so many people in LYNCH MOB that a lot of those people are still friends of mine. They’re familiar with me and the material and what people wanna hear. So it’s easy. So we’ve got a couple shows coming up in the summer here. And it is JARON [GULINO] still on bass from LYNCH MOB. And, we’ve got BRIAN TICHYy on drums for the next couple shows, and then a vocalist to be determined. We don’t know who yet. But we do have a LYNCH MOB record coming out. So, it’s being mixed right now. It’s all done. It’s been done for a second, and it’s gonna be a double album — it’s gonna be, well, actually two albums. Two separate albums but packaged together. So it’s a live album — full live show — and then also a studio album. And that’s it. It’s mixed right now. So, [it will be out] later in the year.”
LYNCH MOB, the band formed by George in 1989 after his exit from DOKKEN, played its “final” concert on March 22nd at the Medina Entertainment Center in Medina, Minnesota.

Oh my God just called the band LYNCH MOB already!! That is the name of the band after all! So your last name just happens to be Lynch, f–k the PC bullshit already! All your fans identify the band as “Lynch Mob!” It’s just a damn name! Just as it would be if your last name was Smith and it was the Smith Mob! Whatever!
100% agree! This “political correctness” stuff is out of control. IMO, too many people get WAY too easily offended over things that are not meant to be offensive.
Remember the good ole days, when people had a sense of humor, and we could watch shows, such as Sanford & Son, All In The Family and The Jeffersons, without all the outage?
I miss those days to no end, the PC climate, that drives the world’s “feelings” and dogma, has become a festering boil on humanity.
First of all anything new from George is a blessing!!! One of the greatest in our lifetime! Second, Dana you are hot as hell for posting that comment. I think you and I can be a thing after all! Haha! But have you watched all the episodes of all in the family? And during that era?
George,
I am fairly certain, that I have seen all of them, over my lifetime. However, I was only two-years-old, when the show debuted, in 1971. So, I would watch the repeats, as an older child at around 10, or 11, years of age?
Back then, I might not have gotten all of the jokes, but as I aged, and continued to watch the repeats, I understood more of the humor.
Sanford and Son, remains my favorite, as I LOVED Redd Foxx. His verbal exchanges with Aunt Esther, still have me bellyrolling. I love when he calls her a “old buzzard,” LOL!!!
My Dad had old episodes of, Amos and Andy, on VHS (remember those?) One cannot get the show, unless it is on the black market, because Bill Cosby bought the rights, so no one could ever see it, as it is considered “sterotypical” and “racist.”
Well, my Dad let me borrow the ones he had acquired, on the secondary market, and I was laughing my ass off. I did not find it “racist,” nor “stereotypical,” it was just hysterical. Especially the King Fish’s wife, Sapphire, who had a mustache-LOL!!!
I thought George was calling it quits ?
