Kiss does guitar accents in their songs that are so catchy: that guitar part with those abrupt stops in the pre-chorus in Almost Human, the guitar part in the chorus to I Love It Loud, and also the chorus to Keep Me Comin’, which sounds like a showtune; they almost didn’t even need to sing the background vocal part of the chorus there b/c the music really carries it.
Yes those are great hooks for sure. I always wished Kiss would’ve kept the guitars in the ILIL chorus at the very end of the song as well.
some young punk type band covered I Love It Loud and it turned out great, I am trying to hear the stutter guitar pattern in the chorus over the end as you describe…and I hear it, that is cool.

This great song is about how the vindication of winning a war turns to nothingness because of the heavy costs, such as death and destruction. Deep song, and lyrical content, by Dave Mustaine!
