7/13: RADIO AND PODCAST UPDATE

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Started off this week today on TrunkNation with Rikki Rockett as my guest. Wed Rachel Bolan of Skid Row, Thursday Richard Williams of Kansas joins me. It’s all live 2-4P ET on SiriusXM 106 Volume, replay 10-Mid ET, or On Demand SiriusXM app. Tons of interviews all archived on the app if you miss anything. Including Phil Collen from last week.

I will be on vacation from SiriusXM the week of 7/20. You will get daily best ofs featuring some of my recent Trunk Top 20 shows next week. Next Top 20 will be Metallica and is tentative for 7/28!

New podcast this Thursday will feature Phil Collen and Frank Hannon. Current episode features Butch Walker and Joe Bonamassa.

Had some great conversations this week on TrunkNation with Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke and Jimmy DeGrasso. They are now On Demand on the SiriusXM app. Short week with Friday a holiday, so tomorrow Free For All Thursday with all your calls, and Friday a best of for the holiday. After tomorrow back live Monday 2P ET on 106 and 5P ET (not live) on 39.

I have an all new playlist hour of music debuting on 106 Volume on 4th of July Saturday. All rock songs with “Summer” in the title. I put in a ton of variety and think you will enjoy it. It premiers Saturday at 4 and 9P ET and then on demand on the SiriusXM app.

6/11: RIP PAUL CHAPMAN, TOMMY SHAW, FRANKIE BANALI, ALICE COOPER, ACE FREHLEY, CHRIS JERICHO, MORE

Saddened to hear about the passing of former UFO guitarist Paul Chapman. I was a HUGE fan of this era of the band and the 4 albums Paul made with UFO are among my all time favorite. The first time I saw UFO in ’81 he was the guitarist. A super underrated player that played in a super underrated band and made super underrated albums with that band! Paul died Tues on his 66th birthday. UFO drummer Andy Parker was on my TrunkNation SiriusXM show today and confirmed Paul died of a heart attack and had recently had a stroke. My condolences to his family, friends and fans. Go crank No Place To Run, Mechanix, The Wild Willing & Innocent or Makin Contact. GREAT melodic hard rock at it’s finest! RIP Paul.
