This year’s Bowl For Ronnie Celebrity Bowling Party, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, has sold out in advance. Set for November 13th at PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City, California, the event will once again be hosted by television and radio personality Eddie Trunk, who is heard on SiriusXM’s 103 Faction Talk channel.
Celebrities have been sharpening their bowling skills for this year’s competition. Host Eddie Trunk confirmed his team early, comprising Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler; Brent Woods (Gene Simmons, Chevy Metal, Sebastian Bach); Shavarsh “Shavo” Odadjian of System of a Down and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme). They will be joined by Rick Thomas of Reno, Nevada, who emerged as the highest bidder in the charity’s eBay auction for a place on Eddie’s team.

The members of Yachtley Crew have purchased their own lane to take on all comers in this year’s fierce competition for a coveted bowling trophy as has a team from the newly relaunched KNAC.com.
The evening of fun, food, and, of course, bowling with rockers and celebrities competing for trophies kicks off at 6:30 PM with open bowling and a VIP pre-party for celebrities, lane sponsors and their guests.
100% of the net proceeds from the Bowl For Ronnie will go to the Dio Cancer Fund. Pinz Bowling Center is located at 12655 Ventura Blvd in Studio City, California.
