BILL WARD’S DAY OF ERRORS TOUR DATES CANCELED

Drummer Bill Ward has released the following statement:

“Hi Everyone,

It’s with great, great sadness that I must tell you I have to cancel the Day Of Errors tour dates scheduled in December. I wound up in hospital this past weekend with heart problems. I am OK and in good recovery at this time. However, I’ve never experienced this particular type of heart problem before, and due to its nature, I had to make the decision to cancel the dates. I want to send my sincere apologies to everyone who was planning to come out to the shows. I’m so sorry we won’t be making it – I was looking forward to seeing you all and sharing this music with you. I’ll be in touch soon.

All my love,
Bill”

All Bill Ward/Day of Errors tour dates have been canceled and will not be rescheduled. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Tickets purchased through an online ticketing agency will be automatically refunded. Please allow 7-10 days for refunds to appear.

  1. Unsignable contract….?

Mr Ward’s health is against him so it seems, but maybe he didn’t want to admit it.

If he had come clean right from the start and admitted that there were problems, I myself and I’m sure the legions of other Black Sabbath fans would have accepted and understood the situation.

But let’s also not forget that Mr Ward was also signed up to play, record and tour as Heaven and Hell with the great R.J.D about 10 years or so ago and then at the last minute…….pulls out of it.

Am I the only one who see’s the pattern here?

With all the nonsense flying from the original “Unsignable Contract” line, I lost respect for Bill Ward. I saw Sabbath a total of five times without him and without wanting to sound harsh, I didn’t notice he wasn’t there.

    1. Sabbath on the last tour was a fantastic show, and I was not disappointed in the least.

Bill historically has been the biggest flake in Sabbath, and that’s saying a lot. I never believed the ‘unsignable contract’ nonsense that he spewed last year. Hopefully he recovers from this and can continue his nonsense.

  2. Anyone know if this is all a ruse as a result of low-tix sales? Seems for $18 a pop that there’s not much money to be made on a west coast bar hop/tour…no?

  3. The “low ticket sales” idea isn’t a bad one, but if that’s why, pick any other excuse – literally ANY other excuse – than “health”. He had to know this would flush his credibility down the drain.
