  1. Oh man, Dana! I thought the same thing IMMEDIATELY when seeing that silly throne block the mighty Bill Ward. I was not happy.

    1. Thank you, that was my other guess.

I was unsure if it was the Mike Myers, or Jason franchises, that used those Children Of The Grave, inspired, sound effects.

  2. My thoughts…

Nuno was the star of the show. He dominated every performance he was in…maybe people now will understand he is a guitar god and give him his well-deserved credit.

Same with Rial Sons…they killed it with their short set. Jay has an amazing voice and hopefully people will start listening to their music.

No idea who Yungblud is, but my god that was the best performance of the night. Got chills watching that.

Loved that Halestorm played Perry Mason…Ozzy’s newer stuff got snubbed so this was a great surprise.

No one played any songs from Diary of a Madman, my #1 Ozzy record.

So pissed Guns and Roses played my 2 favorite Sabbath songs, Never Say Die and Juniors Eyes. Axl sounds HORRIBLE and anyone paying to see them live is a fool. Always thought GnR were overrated, this day proved that.

Steven Tyler…wow. Sounded amazing, hoping for one last Aerosmith show…

Zack Wylde doesn’t get enough credit…another amazing guitarist that helped carry Ozzy’s career. He sounded great also.

Too bad Wolfie couldn’t make it…but it gave Nuno more time to shine!

Awesome to see Jake E Lee. Would have been cool if he came out and played a song with Ozzy.

No Dave Grohl? Doesn’t he do every tribute thing that is out there?? LOL….

Anthrax set was way too short…2 songs? Really?

All in all this was an amazing show. They NEED to release this on blu ray…UNCUT. I want (NEED) all these performances on one Blu-ray…PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

    1. Michael,

Sammy Hagar sang Flying High Again, you probably forgot, because I hate to write this, but it was a semi lackluster performance, and that is probably why, you forgot.

As for Dave Ghoul, um sorry, but I was overjoyed, he was not in attendance, unlike Wolfie whom I missed. he is such a talented kid. Morello, is on the same wavelength, as Ghrol (quite insufferable) and his asinine playing style (trying to differentiate himself) is so annoying and distracting.

Finally, I am sure they will release this special on DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. Plus, I bet they canned footage (never before behind-the-scenes s, rehearsals, etc.), so they can re-release it with added bonuses, five years later-LOL.

  3. I was 12 yrs old out shooting a brand new pellet gun my friend bought with grass cutting money. He also bought the (recently released) Blizzard of OZ cassette. That was the first time I heard Mr. Crowley (getting goosebumps from the memory) ……….. this was a life changing event. !

Gotta give props to Alice in Chains.
They are direct disciples of Sabbath/Ozzy.
So, so friggin’ awesome to see Mike Inez play Ozzy’s “final” solo set.
It was a honor to watch it. (Devil Horns here)
