Monday, December 15, 2014 — Anthrax, along with producer Jay Ruston, is currently in a Los Angeles studio recording the follow up to their 2011 Grammy-nominated, critically-acclaimed album, Worship Music.
The band – Charlie Benante/drums, Frank Bello/bass, Joey Belladonna/vocals, Scott Ian/guitars and Jon Donais/guitars – has been writing and demo’ing new songs over the past few months and plans to record well into January. The as yet untitled album, the band’s eleventh full studio collection, is set for a 2015 release (Megaforce Records).
This video clip below was filmed the first day of recording.

They have a tough task ahead of them because WORSHIP MUSIC will not be easy to follow up. With all due respect to the rest of the Big 4, matched up album to album with those band’s last album, WORSHIP MUSIC was the best, in my opinion. I love DEATH MAGNETIC, but Anthrax managed to capture magic on WORSHIP MUSIC. And to think about all they went through just getting it made makes it even more incredible!
Yes! No! Yes! No!
