Angel. Casablanca Records’ “anti-KI$$”.
Angel was ahead of their time , I was lucky to see them several times in the 70s that first album was amazing every song was great Barry Brandt was an underrated drummer he was very talented his fills and kick drum work were incredible, punky was also very underrated as a guitarist and he was also a great showman , Frank’s voice hasn’t changed either still strong and clear ! I’m going to see them at the token lounge !
I hate to say this but I didn’t like the new song I was hoping for something reminiscent of the first couple of albums
Man, how old are these guys? Wow.
First album 1975 ..punky and frank are probably late 60s , today
Punky meadows is 73 , and frank dimino is 71.. his voice is freakish for 71 , these 2 guys have obviously taken good care of themselves, again looking forward to the show in my area ~
