In his prime, W. Axl Rose did some amazing things on stage. Of course the same can be said about Paul Stanley. And to an extent even Gene Simmons (at the last show in make-up back in 1982 in Rio, he does a full split like Livvy Dunn in all that armor he was wearing during the song Creatures Of The Night). Ted Nugent was very athletic in the 70’s and 80’s. Zakk Wylde, when touring with Ozzy in the 80’s & 90’s, was even more acrobatic than Edward Van Halen on stage.
Roth is obvious. Gotta throw Dee Snider in there. However, I think most of the bands in the 80’s had to be pretty fit to play the amount of shows they did, wear leather while doing so, and operate out of a tour bus.
Freddie Mercury – total package!
Of course have to acknowledge Jagger and Roth, Ozzy was pretty athletic back in the day, especially when he used to run around onstage throwing buckets of water on as many people as he could reach!
Paul Stanley, David Lee Roth (did tons of stuff off stage), actually there are too many to mention of the “hair band” days. Those guys were all jacked up and all over the place.

Bruce Dickinson – Sprints across the stage, jumping, and fencing while singing.
Mick Jagger – Even today, he runs miles during a single concert, maintaining intense cardio fitness.
David Lee Roth – High-flying acrobatics, martial arts, and signature split jumps.
Iggy Pop: A pioneer of stage diving, known for his relentless, chaotic energy and endurance.
