Testament have announced An Evening With Testament tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of their third album, Practice What You Preach.
In support of the Practice What You Preach reissues via Nuclear Blast, Testament wanted to do something special and intimate for the fans, performing deep cuts and some classic ballads for the first time ever.
Testament singer Chuck Billy states, “We are getting ready to Practice What You Preach across the U.S. this May. We will be performing the album Practice What You Preach, telling stories, playing a few acoustic tunes, and finishing out with the best of deep cuts. This will be an evening with Testament you don’t want to miss. Horns Up.”
Testament guitarist Eric Peterson added, “”This will be a night to remember. We’ll have some cool tales to tell about making the record, and where we were at that time in our career. Practice What You Preach was our third full-length, major label release and our most commercially successful album at that time. We’ll be playing songs you’ve probably wanted to hear forever that we never did, but will do in the Evening With Testament.”
Tickets will be on sale March 7th at 10 a.m. local time.

I think Testament is a great thrash band! They’re proof musicians can be in their 60s and can still crush it! (Are you reading this, Meh-tallica?). I’m gonna try to attend the San Diego show….although it on Memorial Dsy weekend.
What!!!…no LA or Orange County appearance??????
This sounds great. Portland show was killer last September. Hope they make it this way again, perhaps next fall.
