A message to the loyal fans of That Metal Show from Eddie, Jim & Don:
We are sorry to report that VH1 Classic will not continue to make any new episodes of That Metal Show. It has been an incredible run of eight years, roughly 125 episodes and some really cool specials. The global response to TMS has been simply amazing, and we will be eternally grateful for the support from the rock and metal fans that have showed us so much love. We truly would have never made it as long as we did without you! A huge thanks also to the great crews we had over the years both in NYC and Los Angeles, to our producer Jeff Baumgardner, and to all the executives at VH1. And finally, thanks to the hundreds of artists that joined us on our set, had fun with us, shared their stories and many, many laughs. From the biggest names in rock history, to the up-and-comers: we thank you all for being a part of it.
Of course we very much want to keep That Metal Show alive, and with the blessing of VH1 Classic, we’ve got the keys to the show and are currently searching for a new home. We’re not sure where we’ll land, but we hope to be back in our studio and your living rooms as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep an eye out for us on the road and come say, “Hello.”
Thank you for watching all these years, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have news to share.

The way things are going I’m afraid to look at the news
Hi Eddie, doesn’t sound good for the future of VH1 and music in general, as well as you guys having to find a new home. It’s clearly a sign of the times music, distribution and availability, is just not what it used to be anymore. Very, very sad.
Wherever you find your next home, can i make just one suggestion, that if your vids are available online, to make these accessible to everyone across the planet. If you’re overseas, i.e. outside the US, it’s not possible to view any episodes online. At least, this was the case with VH1, and it would be AWESOME to allow everyone permissions to check em out regardless of where they live. Thanks in advance for considering!!!!! Rock on!!!!!!
Man, I have to say I am very upset from hearing about TMS being cancelled. It was my favorite show! It was the greatest show ever devoted to hard rock and heavy metal. I watched every episode since the first one with Lita. I never missed an episode. I saw each one the night it first aired. But, as it’s been pointed out, the show has grown too big for VH1 Classic. I hope it lands somewhere cool that can give it the support and larger exposure the show, Eddie, Jim and Don deserve. Eddie, Jim and Don have great, loyal fans, me included, and those fans will always be there for them if and when the show comes back some day. And Eddie’s podcast is awesome and it’s posted every week. Classic hard rock and heavy metal fans are fans for life and we will always stand up for this music and TMS has become important part of that world and always will be.
