1/8 WELCOME TO THE ALL NEW EDDIETRUNK.COM!!!

Welcome to the all new EddieTrunk.com! Really excited to launch this all new version of my official online home and I hope you take some time to have a look at the new features. This has just been launched and we still have a few kinks to work out no doubt, but I hope you like it and find it not only a great resource for the various things in my world, but also for the music we love in general. Many cool new exclusive features as we go forward with this new design and management of the site.

I’d like to thank all the folks at PAID in Boston who ran this site for the past four years, and give a sincere thanks to the sites new manager, my friend Erik Luftglass, who put a tremendous amount of time and expertise in this relaunch and will help make this even better going forward.

Also thanks to Dana Rosen, who has been the Queen of the music news on the site and continues to be. Her efforts and time are greatly appreciated! Thank you all for visiting and come back often to keep up with everything going on. Much more soon!

1/7 LIVE TONIGHT SIRIUSXM/BOSTON APPEARANCE THIS WEEKEND

Looking forward to being back on LIVE tonight after a couple weeks of holidays for my SiriusXM show. Join me at 6P ET/3P Pacific for Eddie Trunk LIVE on SiriusXM channel 39 Trunk Nation (Hair Nation). Brian Tichy will be checking in to talk about his departure from Whitesnake and much more. I will be in Boston this weekend for my first appearance/signing of 2013 at the NE Motorcycle Expo at the World Trade Center Saturday and Sunday at the Sick Boy booth. My times at the booth are:

Saturday: 10:30-1, 3-5:30

Sunday: 10:30-2:30

Come by and say hello if you are going or in the area. I’ll also have copies of my book to sell and sign while supplies last.

1/2 HAPPY NEW YEAR/UPDATE

Hope everyone had a great holiday season! Back into the swing of things so here are a few updates:

This site will be completely relaunched any day now and be under new management. Really excited about some of the new ideas of the table to make this site better than ever. All the features you love like news, polls, Trunk Report and more remain unchanged. But a bunch of new stuff coming and many improvements. Look for that launching at any minute and growing with new features as we progress. I also hope to get more active with FB time permitting, and thanks to all who sent me past 100K followers on Twitter.

Live radio shows return this Friday on Q104.3 and Monday on SiriusXM. For the Q104/FM show this will be the 30th year that show has existed! Hope to do something special. For 25th anniversary Priest played!

I am waiting on VH1 Classic as to when we will do more episodes of That Metal Show. These decisions are 100% up to them! Hope to know what’s next by the end of Jan the latest. I of course want to do more shows, but the newtork controls the plan and schedule completely. For now enjoy the many replays and set those DVRs to catch them all.

I’ll be in Boston at the NE Motorcycle show at World Trade Center 1/12 & 13 at the Sickboy booth. ‘ll be selling and signing my book as well. Exact times I’m at the booth each day TBA. I’ll also be hosting the red carpet for the Dee Snider roast in Annaheim CA Jan 24th (seen live in AXS TV) and appearing at the Samson/Zoom booth at NAMM 1/25 & 26. Hope to see you for these first appearances of 2013. More to come including R&R Fantasy Camp in Vegas and Monsters Of Rock Cruise out of Ft Lauderdale this March!

12/26 RADIO HOLIDAY UPDATE

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a very happy healthy new year. Outside of a quick run to Vegas to watch some football this weekend I’m around and spending time with the family and enjoying this great time of year. Don’t forget if you missed the first annual Holiday RUSH special with Alex Lifeson it airs on all affiliates and online outlets this weekend. Just check the list under Broadcasts / Syndication on this site. This Friday on Q104 will be the Year In Review special where we look back on all the hard rock and metal from 2012. Don’t miss this show and support some great new music from your favorite artists you may not have caught first time around.

Hope you are enjoying the TMS replays on VH1 Classic. MANY replays if you set those DVRs all week. I’ll know the schedule on new shows when I meet with VH1 in the new year.

12/22 HOLIDAY RUSH RECAP & REAIRS

Thanks to all for the amazing feedback on my Q104 show last night and the first ever Holiday RUSH Special! Was awesome to celebrate an entire show of the music of Rush and even cooler to have Alex Lifeson call in and be part of it. We talked R&R Hall (they are very aware how vocal I was for years about it. Alex said I’m probably more relieved then they are!), retirement (not anything soon, just slowing down touring after 2014 or so), 5.1 reissues, and much much more. Can’t thank Alex enough for taking time from the holidays to be a part of the show. The guys in Rush have always been super cool with me. Just really great people. Alex & Geddy were very early guests in the history of TMS when nobody even knew what it was. Just really grateful to have support and respect from them for my shows. I’ve decided Holiday RUSH will be an annual special, so much great music and conversation. Also thanks to Mike Portnoy for coming in to guest co-host and bringing in some true rare gems. Response has been phenomenal and everyone asking how to hear again. Just check the station list on this site under Broadcasts, Syndication. All those stations and their streams air Holiday RUSH next weekend at the dates and times listed. So that’s how to hear it again many times, places and ways all free. Those stations THIS weekend are airing the KISSmas show with Peter Criss, so hit them up THIS weekend to hear that. Have a good weekend all! THIS FRIDAY, I’m excited to announce an all new special for the first time: “The Holiday RUSH with Eddie Trunk”. I’ll be dedicating my entire three hour radio show to nothing but the music of Rush! And as I”m sure you know when it comes to me, it will not be the same old two or three songs you always hear on the radio! Making this show even more special will be an all new interview with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, who will check in during the broadcast. Join me as we celebrate the band FINALLY getting into the R&R Hall Of Fame on 12/21/12! Nothing but Rush music, talk, giveaways and more. Don’t miss the first ever Holiday Rush, LIVE this Friday night on Q104.3 New York City starting at 11PM ET.
