Steel Panther has been on the road in support of their highest chart debut of their career, All You Can Eat. The album was released on Open E Records via Kobalt Label Services and stormed the top of the charts landing at #24 on the Billboard Top 200. The band also garnered their third consecutive #1 album on the Top Current Comedy Charts. The album is currently available at all physical and digital retailers or can be ordered via SteelPanther.TV. All You Can Eat was produced by Jay Ruston and Steel Panther.

Steel Panther was, for a long time, rock’s best-kept secret: a cult legend on the LA scene. But in recent years due to the success of their albums (all of which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Comedy Album Charts), and live shows, the band has enjoyed huge acclaim from fans and peers alike. Steel Panther has been joined on stage by a who’s who of musical icons such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Paul Stanley of KISS, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Billy Ray Cyrus, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Green Day to name a few. Steel Panther has also been seen on Dancing With The Stars, Bad Girl’s Club and most recently in a national web campaign for Warner Brothers Pictures hit film, Rock Of Ages. The band played to the largest crowd of their career this past June when they closed the Download Festival in Donnington, UK alongside Alter Bridge and Aerosmith.

isn’t funny how giving ones opinion when asked or telling the truth can be spun as shit talking by some? It is amazing! I recently responded to a tweet from Ozzy’s account when they tweeted out his song lyrics and said “great lyrics by Bob Daisley”. People said, “oh damn, Eddie is talking shit!”. REALLY? So we now live in an age when TELLING THE TRUTH or having an OPINION is talking shit?!? It is crazy land..

The truth hurts, especially when there’s money involved.

When you speak truth about some and hold back on others, then it really is talking shit. You pick your spots to needle those you don’t like (we all do) or who will drive up your site traffic (we all would).

I find it amazing when people say you are talking shit when you are telling the truth. Or when people say you are talking shit when you say Steel Panther is a spoof band when that is what they ARE. Scary some people don’t get it… People also love to dwell on 2% of something you say negative but be sure to totally ignore the other 98% positive. Crazy world but so be it..

I don’t see how California Breed would have been better than SP. They have a couple of ok songs, but I liked the boys more when they called themselves something else and had Bonamassa playing the fiddle. It sounded like sludgy 70’s filler material to my ears and not very interesting.

I don’t think they have much in common with Judas Priest. I’d rather see a metal band playing with Priest, but SP is pretty cool. Good music, fun guys and a great time.

The Steel Insane Atomic Punks Posse is a joke to open for a tour in support of Priest’s finest album in many moons…..California Breed I feel sorry for ya blokes….it woulda been a fine fit and huge exposure over dare I say large clubs.

I would have liked to have seen Airbourne open.

      Dana from ET.com 🙂

Im REALLY hoping they open for AC/DC!!!! That’s my dream gig 🙂
Would be cool to open for Priest as well…

    • Dana on

Well Johnny, that would be the perfect match, but maybe too much alike? That is why I think they would be great opening for Priest.

      D 🙂

    Long Live the Mighty Panther!

    Wembley Arena…proud of the boys!

I still don’t like it that Steel Panther is opening. I would have rather it been a real band like Accept or Overkill. But I guess it’s not the end of the world. Besides, I’m going to see Priest, not Steel Panther. If Steel Panther put on a good show then great. But if they suck or start acting silly on stage it’ll give me time to get beer and go to the restroom.

I was hoping for the same thing. Especially since Accept and Overkill have new albums out.
