SIXX: AM ANNOUNCE APRIL 2015 TOUR DATES

sixxam400 Sixx: AM, the band featuring Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist DJ Ashba (Guns N’ Roses) and singer James Michael, have announced a tour in support of their new album, Modern Vintage.

Stops for Sixx:A.M. include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto and New York with presales and onsales launching this week. Members of Sixx:A.M. said special guest Apocalyptica would join them on the road.

“Fans have been asking for years ‘When is Sixx:A.M. gonna tour?’ and we’ve finally announced our first headline tour,” bassist Sixx said. “We can’t wait to play these songs live and put on a rock extravaganza for our fans. We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing along Apocalyptica as special guest because we are fans of their music and think this is going to be an amazing night of music from beginning to end.”

The headlining adventure isn’t the only first for Sixx:A.M. The band will participate in a Reddit AMA at 10 a.m. PDT Wednesday and will conduct an in-store signing when members appear at Best Buy in Burbank at 7 p.m. that evening. The band also launched their online webstore.

“For three records now we have been envisioning what a Sixx:A.M. headlining tour would look and feel like,” singer Michael said. “We are so excited to finally be bringing these songs to life.”

Debuting at Number one on the iTunes Rock Chart, Modern Vintage has unleashed its first single onto a rock-luvin’ world. Gotta Get It Right is currently working its way up the radio charts.

Adam Arnkoff, senior VP of Touring at 10th Street Entertainment, the company that manages Sixx:A.M., hinted that more excursions will follow.

“The band is eager to give back to all the fans who have supported them and their first headline tour ever is the best way possible,” Arnkoff told Pollstar. “This time around, we are only able to hit select major markets, but this will serve as a taste of what is to come down the road.”
