Geoff, it is finally over. You have jumped the shark. The wig and glasses say it all. The Bobby Valentine of hard rock has arrived. The point of no return has come for a once great Bruce Dickinson sound-alike. DR DAVIS TELEPHONE PLEASE! DR DAVIS TELEPHONE PLEASE! Why look, my cable guy sang SILENT LUCIDITY.

I don’t even know where to begin with this. The steroids have finally taken full control. If Chris DeGarmo were dead, he’d be rolling in his grave. He couldn’t even open for Jack Russell! Is this the guy that gave us Surgical Strike, I don’t believe in Love, NM 156, I will remember? Geoff…..the needle does indeed lie.

Roth, Simmons, Herman The German etc. won’t fess up to wigs…even Paul Stanley is 1/3 hair extensions. No old school line-up, who cares, they both suck.

Those 4 you mentioned do it for cosmetic reasons. This is different. Geoff is a mentally ill 55 year old man looking like a cross between DESTINY’S CHILD singers and the sand people of STAR WARS fame. He s not even trying to be funny. This is a sick person who knows that it’s over but cannot grasp his own reality. No one cares about QUEENRYCHE anymore and why should they? A tier 3 alternative band in 2014. They’re no longer relevant. Oh QUEENSRYCHE is gone, I’ll just check out something else. If they played nice and stayed together, they could have been a cute opening act for somebody better but NOOOOO! They had to form 2 QUEENSRYCHES. Less is so much more fellows. GEOFF. DRIVE YOUR CHEVY TO THE LEVEE AND HOPE THAT IT IS NOT DRY……..

    Geoff, it’s Silent Insanity……

    • Richman on

It is insanity Chris, LOOK AWAY! LOOK AWAY FOR GOD SAKES MAN LOOK AWAY! Live your life and make like this never happened. Thank God, Sweet Sister Mary never lived to see this day. I love OPERATION MINDCRIME and AMERICAN SOLDIER as well, but that photo is just too shocking for me. I don’t know who Geoff Tate is anymore. THE HORROR! THE HORROR!

    • DR on

I don’t know if I can ever listen to Rage for Order again.

    • Richman on

No you can DR. It is just different after this. That’s all. In the end, it is always just about the music. In fact, I can’t think of a QUEENSRYCHE album with a band photo on the cover so no worries. Great music supersedes it’s own musicians. I can still take in STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER even though Scott Weiland is the bigggest ……………………………

    • DR on

No shit Richman. Scott Weiland. Now there’s a gentleman with a shit load of pizzazz who fucked it all up…3 times!!!

If that’s what makes him happy, more power to him. Leave the Queensryche name to his former band mates who released one of the best albums of 2013. Besides, that’s gotta be the best vocal performance of a Kinks song ever. He still got the voice.
