I love it! I absolutely love it.
There can exist such hatred for a tour chock full o’ real heavy music (rehashed or not as) and yet there remains horrific watered down nonsense played about the general media. An effort to bash and talk the cyber jive has once again surfaced. Opinions, sure we all have them, but we should recognize a real tour when it circulates. I understand how one could look at Gypsyhawk or Wilson as gimmicky bs but it is a fantastic support effort in assisting the resurrection of rock n roll. There should be a line down the avenue to get in. I hear a modern angst in these bands that’s due with the cyclical nature of music spanning the last forty years. MC5,Blue Cheer,Nazareth,Buffalo,Cream,Sabbath,Budgie,it’s all present with this tour. How is that not great? Scorpion Child just released one of the greatest classic heavy rock albums of the last decade and their German label mates Kadavar serve up some great heavy psych blues alike. The Beiber’s and Miley’s along with an over abundance of indie who are found in excess at American festivals should be Rothing the stage to make room for these acts. A country of listeners dining on cheap, easy, and quick satisfaction when it comes to modern pop music is only lending to rock n’ rolls imminent doom. Well up jumps the devil to change that. So when I see trollers yawn, snore and consider something organic and real a hack virus, only reinforces and/or adds to the crumbling state of modern music. The sounds Scorpion Child and Kadavar bring to my ears, serve as a massive turning point to where music should be headed. What is considered mainstream is too digestible and most metal of today becomes one in the same. When cyber bombing a tour announcement of actual present day importance it should be taken into account that haters are indeed needed to propel this music back onto the charts! Keep it coming.
    many cheers -Stef
