3/17/10: Getting lot's of email about the R&R Hall induction and so many outraged rock fans. I've covered this to death and have not seen one second of the broadcast of this years event. No interest. But it does seem my yelling and screaming over the years has had some impact. Seems like more and more people are becoming aware of what a joke this is and who have been ignored. Even seeing some of the press start to attack it including a recent story in the NY Daily News. This is exactly why I have been screaming for years. I don't have the time or resources to do my own Hall, but I sure as hell can and will use my platforms to help expose what I joke it is in hopes it changes!
All new TMS this Saturday with Rudy Sarzo on set talking Dio, Quiet Riot, Ozzy and more!
Hearing from many that WASP cancelled a show in Allentown PA in addition to the NYC date. No reason has been given from either the promoter or the band on this cancellation, but if I hear anything I will let you know. I have many listeners in this area of PA with my affiliate WZZO being there.
Was having dinner with some friends last night when I got a text from Slash thanking me for saying something nice about his new CD on TV and Radio. Wow, what a concept! As I told Slash I usually hear from artists only when they don't like something I said or THINK I said! Don't get me wrong, I don't need my ass kissed, but it's nice to hear from artists saying thanks. Slash was always a class act to me and it was something he didn't need to take the time to do, which I appreciate.

Had a great one hour conversation with John Bush Monday on the Sirius/XM show. John talked about Anthrax, the new Armored Saint album and more. John has a very realistic approach on where he's at with both of these bands. He is going to do with both what makes sense for him at this point in his life and only do gigs that he feels have real value and audience. John is a family man now and as much as he loves to sing and play in a band, he also has a lucrative gig in LA doing voice over work and is a Dad of two. So he's going to do both bands and start to do some recording with Anthrax, but it's going to be a case of creating balance for him at this point in his personal life as well. Was a great conversation and it will be available on this site soon.
