Former Quiet Riot Guitarist Replaces John Corabi In Ratt
Following weeks of rumors and speculation, Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer has confirmed that former QuietT Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo will be joining the group as the replacement for rhythm guitarist John Corabi (former Motley Crue/The Scream singer). According to Blotzer, "we have been rehearsing with Carlos and it sounds pretty freakin cool. He'll be playing his first show with us in Baton Rouge, Lousiana on August 27th. Then New Orleans on August 28th; Houston, August 29th; Calgary, Canada, August 31st. So come on out to the show and rock with us!! Crab [Corabi] has one last show that he's committed to with us on September 5th in Virginia Beach."
Ratt celebrated the "Year Of The Ratt" with a very special West Coast U.S. run of dates in April. In honor of their Southern California roots, the band embarked on a four-show mini-tour to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Ratt" EP.
