Motorhead Kicks Off The "Volcom 2008" Tour In September

Motorhead will team up with Misfits, Valient Thoor, Airbourne and Year Long DIisaster for the "Volcom 2008" tour later this summer. So far the following dates have been confirmed:

Sep. 3 - House of Blues - San Diego, California (no MISFITS)
Sep. 4 - House of Blues - Las Vegas, Nevada
Sep. 6 - The Fillmore Auditorium - Denver, Colorado
Sep. 7 - Harrah's N. Kansas City Voodoo - N.Kansas City, Missouri
Sep. 9 - The Pageant - St. Louis, Missouri
Sep. 10 - Orpheum Theatre - Madison, Wisconsin
Sep. 12 - Myth - St. Paul, Minnesota
Sep. 13 - The Orbit Room - Grand Rapids, Michigan
Sep. 18 - Rams Head Live - Baltimore, Maryland
Sep. 19 - The Electric Factory - Philidelphia, Pennsylvania
Sep. 20 - Roseland Ballroom - New York, New York
Sep. 21 - Stone Pony Parking Lot - Asbury Park, New Jersey

Motorhead will release its new album, entitled "Motörizer," through SPV Records on the following dates:

USA: August 26th
Germany: August 29th
Rest of Europe: September 1st

The follow-up to 2006's "Kiss of Death" was recorded in part (drums only) at Foo Fighters frontman/ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California with producer Cameron Webb, who also worked on "Kiss of Death" and 2004's "Inferno"
