diosacredheartdvdDio’s Finding The Sacred Heart – Live In Philly 1986 DVD will be released on May 28th through Eagle Vision.

Finding The Sacred Heart – Live In Philly 1986 was filmed at The Spectrum in Philadelphia on June 17th, 1986 during the second half of the Sacred Heart tour, which featured new guitarist Craig Goldy. 1. Richard Franks says:

This I cannot wait to get to finally have the whole show and not just a partial show. Plus with it being remastered it will look totally awesome on Blu-Ray! Dio in Digital is a plus for me!

  2. I’ve been a fan of DIO’s since Rainbow, followed his incredible career ever since, and will definately add this to my collection!! \m/ Ronnie IS The voice of music forever.

  3. joe walsh says:

Very cool. I went to that show my senior year in h.s.
will get this when it comes

  4. Michael B Smith says:

I loved this show as I saw him 3 times on this tour with Vivian Cambell then Craig Goldie (my all time favorite guitarist) as well Yngwie J. Malmsteen was opening for them and this brings back fond memories every time I see it, but since it has been released on VHS then DVD and now like this, it would be worth it if there was things added to it that would make it a worth while purchase for me since I already have SACRED HEART dvd in my collection and it sounded like the interview they have put on this new product is the same one as before talking about the football filming company that did the filming of the concert as well as saying how the stage was designed along with the dragon.
I would love it if they would try and release the BLACK SABBATH LIVE EVIL video concert on DVD as I see some of it popping up on you tube here and there, now that would be fantastic to have as I would get that in a heart beat but anything that was done by Ronnie James Dio is going to be something to remember him by….R.I.P. RONNIE you’ll never be forgotten.

  5. ^Michael has some good points. Complete show is nice, but it sure would have been nice to have had that with the first DVD release. Bring on the DVD release of 1984′s “A Special From the Spectrum”…that’s the one that will get my hard-earned money at this point!

  6. Ffej Herb says:

Awesome!!! I was at this very show (I was 12 years old and Accept was the opening act). Can’t wait to get the DVD. Our seats were in like the 10th row, so perhaps I will see myself in the crowd!

  7. Yes!! Will order all of the above!! Blu-Ray, vinyl, CD!!! I love it. DIO was always so good live! Can’t wait for this release! God bless Wendy Dio and all fans for keeping the metal alive.

  8. Michael Gibson says:

Dio played Corpus Christi, Texas in 2004 and that was one of the best sounding concerts ever. That is something that should be put on video and double cd! Not sure why the bigger stadiums are always featured, but fans would love that show. There must have been 5 encores. Also, you would have thought the band was made up of 20 year olds, they were absolutely rocking!
