    • Eddie on

Sorry man, two radio shows, a podcast, live gigs and a TV show a bit much to deal with at the moment. I will when I have time

    • Mr. Rock And Roll on

Jeez, Gregg, take it easy homeslap…be happy that we have all the cool things we have because of Eddie. TMS especially. Come, put down the cask of fine spirits and let’s think this through:

      1. Was it really necessary to lambaste Eddie in the way that you did?
      2. Did you stop to think how your comment might cause unrest among those who appreciate what Eddie does?
      3. How might you address Eddie the next time the opportunity presents itself?
      4. Do you feel any remorse for having espoused such crass and insulting language?
      5. Are you available to reel in the sociopathic sinews that lacerate your mind?

After having pondered the preceding, I would like for you to practice a small time frame of guided imagery. Puppies. Kittens. Laughing babies. Screaming goats. Ahhhh….there you go. All better.

      Joe,

If you think that’s bad, you should see some of the absolute nasty comments that have been submitted to me and that I have deleted in both the past and the present.

I wonder if the statements they post to me is any indication of how they communicate with own their mothers, wives, girlfriends or daughters? If so, we are living in a very sad world.

Some people are just so rude and ungrateful, it’s pathetic. Especially, when they no idea of what goes on in ones lives outside of this online community. Consideration is something that really seems to be lost on some individuals nowadays.

Dana you are 100 percent correct. There are so many keyboard warriors these days just being disrespectful and have this entitlement to spew their negativity that it gets ridiculous. It is a bad and sad world sometimes, but it’s important to be positive and rise above it. That’s why it’s so great to have music =) Eddie is waving that flag, and great for him and all of us for it. Dana you do a great job too and your personality and genuineness comes across.

      Carlos,

I expected no less from you. The consummate gentleman, as always. Thank you for always having my back.

      Dana,
That’s a shame that people can be that awful and mean that you have to not post the comments. TMS/Eddie Trunk: The only place we all gather for all things that we love in the music we love. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have been tickled pink for years now that I have found a show and a community that can all come together and be the free nerds that we all are. It’s awesome. Stump The Trunk is my favorite, because that’s what my friends and I have always done to each other and still do. Trivia is fun! AND we get to see our old heroes on the show, check out new bands, the show is informative, interesting, hilarious, Jennifer is hot, Jim and Don, those guys are funny, man! They along with Eddie really know their stuff. I mean come on, when Don jokingly mentioned “Sleeze Beez greatest hits” on one show I almost choked on my sandwich. Who knows about that band?? I’ll tell you: Rock Nerds. And to have a place to convene and know we are all the same and belong together, that’s a situation absolutely NO other pop/rock music genre has. NOBODY. So If anyone is going to be insulting and stupid, just get the hell off of here. We don’t want you around. Go get drunk and start a fight with someone else. It’s people like that that don’t deserve to be in our community. Whew! That was a mouthful! And Dana, I really appreciate what you do on here. You are a comfort zone, and I always look forward to you interacting. Have a good day!

      Joe (Mr. Rock And Roll)

I will always have your back Dana. Thank you for your kind words and for being sweet, for being you =) We just need to enjoy music, some people get crazy with a keyboard.

Eddie, the weather in Texas right now where I’m at is beautiful and extremely comfortable and I’m sitting outside with my neighbors and an ice chest full of Shiner Bock waiting for your radio show to start (I get it through iHeartRadio). Have a great weekend. Cheers!

    • Dana on

Compared to the comments I received, yours was tame.

Sorry, but this isn’t the Friars Club and certainly not a roast. There is no reason to be nasty, not that you were, per se, I was speaking in generalities and referring to the verbal abuse I have endured as well. We are not kissing butt, just stating facts. However, you do sound a bit defensive, and writing in all caps, always makes one seem like they are YELLING.
