3/4: TMS EPISODE 3 THIS SATURDAY, GEDDY LEE ON RADIO, FRANK HANNON PODCAST

Episode 3 of That Metal Show is a wrap. Dave Lombardo & John 5 were both great on set. John ripped as usual on guitar and sat with us for a bit. He is playing in NYC tonight at The Gramercy and I’m going to try and make it. The guy is just mind blowing as a player and always kills on TMS. Lombardo discussed Slayer, his new band Philm and much more. We also had all 3 members of Motorhead on via Skype from the studio. We were going to also include the Joe Elliott interview in the show this week but will hold that for a couple more weeks in a show we have a bit more open time. Great audience that came out as well in what was some awful weather. See it all this Saturday 9P ET on VH1 Classic and starting Sunday online at www.thatmetalshow.vh1.com

I’ll be in Grand Rapids MI at The Music Factory for my one man speaking show next Friday 3/13. Hope to see you if in the area. Please sell all appearances both solo and with Don & Jim on my home page.

I can’t wait to hear what kind of tricks John 5 has up his sleeves this time. And I’ll definitely vote for the podcast.

Cool to hear from Lombardo. Interesting to hear what he says now that it’s been awhile since he left (or whatever actually happened) Slayer.

Btw Ed, did you hear the new adrenaline mob record? I didn’t even know it was out. Pretty cool cover songs … Especially the Sabbath one

Nice to hear Frank Hannon call out some of the great live albums from the 70’s Frank Marino, Rick Derringer and Pat Travers.
