2/28: Q104 TONIGHT, MICK MARS, NEW TMS, HHFEST, MORE.

Back live once again tonight on Q104.3 NYC one week after “the call” from Ace Frehley that touched off a wild week in Kiss-land. All affiliate stations (listed on this site) get that show this weekend. You can hear that entire program that also includes an in studio visit from Adrenaline Mob and a world premiere of a new song from the Dio tribute on all affiliate stations and streams at the usual day and time.

Tonight will be an all new LIVE show on Q104.3 NYC with music, talk, giveaways and more. Listen live 11P-2A ET on 104.3 FM in the NYC tri-state area or the free stream at www.q1043.com or use the free iHeartradio app and just hit Q104.3 / NY / Classic Rock. Should be fun to see what surprises tonight may bring with more live radio!

Speaking of live radio this Monday I will be live on SiriusXM 39 TRUNKNation with Mick Mars of Motley Crue in studio! Mick will be our guest on the TMS we tape next week and will also hang with me on the radio show this Monday (weather permitting, supposed to get even more snow here Monday!). Show is live 6-10P ET and Mick should be in around 8P.

ALL NEW That Metal Show tomorrow night with Leslie West, Mick Jones, Lita Ford and Marty Friedman!

2 weeks to go for the big Hell & Heaven Festival in Mexico City. Very much looking forward to meeting the many great Mexican TMS fans and being a special guest at this festival. When I have a clear idea of my schedule each day I will let you know in case you are attending.

Have a good weekend all and stay warm if you are dealing with this most brutal of winters!

Mick Mars has a ton of different influences, I’d be curious to hear what he does other than the Crue stuff

Hey Eddie – great show again but Im seriously sorry but I MUST bring up the CREED/ALTER BRIDGE issue again, since that comparison was made on your show again last night. If you love BLEED IT DRY as much as I do, then in my opinion im certain you would dig almost 100% of Creed tunes because Tremonti & Co’s velocity and aggression in Alter Bridge IS the same GREAT QUALITY found in Creed. Again, if anyone feels they can judge a band for 1 pop rock song in their catalog , then lets keep judging EXTREME for MORE THAN WORDS and ignore the rest of their hard rock career.

Don’t like Creed, sorry. But I don’t like Def Leppard either, so there is that for what it’s worth.

The main difference between the two bands: Myles Kennedy! Yes, there are other differences, but nothing major. Alter B is a bit “heavier” but that has also a lot to do with the production. If Creed was produced the same way, they also would have that “extra” sound to them. But, yes they are two different bands, but not THAT different. Anyway, this is one of the things that are so great about music: We can discuss it forever and NEVER agree…:-)

Mars does not think much of KISS curious what his opinion of the whole HOF stuff is.
Love his Riffs, Looks like a Walking Dead extra though…lol.
