Eddie, thanks for the interview with Al Stewart, he was awesome as usual. I remember meeting Al in Danbury 20 odd years ago and was as gracious as can be. He did an appearance on the old Robert Klein Radio Show about 35 years ago and was not only entertaining but hilarious as well. I hope you have him on again since he has been an influence to others especially in the lyrics and storytelling arena which transcends many genres.
Eddie, you may want to publish your 2017 Top 10 here on the site. While listening it’s hard to remember/write down suggestions to go listen to later, so a list would be helpful, perhaps even with Spotify links (?). Also, loving Santa Cruz, but they’re derivative of a similar band from Scandinavia that came first, Crashdiet, suggest you look them up too. The Santa Cruz song “Voice of the New Generation” seems to be a very close copy of the Crashdiet song “Generation Wild” from back in 2010. BOTH bands are definitely worth checking out!
