10/30: FLORIDA BOOK SIGNING NEXT WEEK W/ SAMMY HAGAR, MORE

Just confirmed a book signing for S Florida! I’ll be at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood FL Thursday November 7th. Sammy Hagar plays the arena that night with his killer 40 years of rock show. I’ll be in the venues lobby from 6-8P selling and signing copies of both of my books. I will be before the ticketed are so you will not need a show ticket to get to me, but hope you join me inside for the concert as well. Tickets for Hagar show on sale now. This is a great resort and venue and I’ve have had many great times there in the past.Hope to see you all next Thursday if in the area. I will be announcing more new signings in Texas and Oklahoma any minute. Of course so many cities I want to hit, all depends on my schedule and the opportunity. I’ll keep you posted but Dallas, Ardmore OK, OKC and Tulsa are all going to be announced very soon. Keep an eye out for those dates.

Killer show from The Winery Dogs in NJ last night. Band just keeps getting better and tighter. They are now ending the set with a BLAZING version of “Shy Boy”. Awesome! About 5 more dates left for the band for the current tour before a break and more dates early next year.

More 30th anniversary T shirts that were exclusive to my event last week are being made by popular demand. They will be available in the merch store soon along with the other all new shirts, hats and more. Great gifts for the holidays as well. Check them out!

I’ll be live this Friday night on Q104.3 NYC with some very special guests. Details soon.

I was fortunate to see the Winery Dogs at their 10/18 show in Clifton Park, NY. Was a killer show just as I am sure the one in NJ was. Hands down some of the very best new hard rock out there. And yes that version of Shy Boy shook the rafters! So glad Eddie you had a hand in getting these guys together. The result has been an amazing new band. Between them, Black Star Riders, and Sabbath’s “13” there is damn great new music out these days to be psyched about!

They are amazing. For me to be able to take people I am a fan of, get them together, see it work so well, and see so many love the result feels great. I just had the idea, THEY made AMAZING music. 3 virtuoso musicians like this could easily get together and have it be a show off fest. But there is great playing AND great SONGS! Hope they last a while.

    Eddie-
Didn’t know if you were at the Starland for the Winery Dogs…but apparently so. Their album is amazing from the first song to the last, but their live show just blew the album away. I’m a drummer and I just sat by the right side of the stage watching Portnoy and he makes it look so damn easy. These guys are all super talented and looked like they were enjoying themselves. The last time I heard Shyboy live was at MSG with Roth in ’88. It was awesome to hear them do that song. I also liked the cover tune they did…from way back in the 70s. I hope these guys put out more material and can stay together for a while. I recommend EVERYONE to check out their show…you won’t be dissapointed!

On a side note, with the exception of being WAY TOO LOUD, Sixxis was a good band as well.

A fan in Vegas told me they should do Shy Boy. Thought it was a great idea, told them, and now they close with it. It kills!

Saw Winery Dogs on Long Island last night. They were Great. Hopefully they play a different venue next time, maybe the Paramont in Huntington. Seemed like they needed to make Kotzen’s Guitar much louder….but again they were still great, bought a signed DVD of Kotzen Live in Brazil from 2007, will be watching that soon and exploring more of his music. Thanks for getting them Together
